The purpose of these pages of the website are to educate potential new breeders of chinchillas, and to state our breeding practices at Etherdale Chinchillas.
The first question you must ask yourself is whether you wish to breed animals, and whether you are prepared for the highs and the lows asociated with breeding animals.
In raising any livestock, there is much pleasure to be gained regarding being a part of bringing new life into the world. There are also many responsibilities regarding caring for those chinchillas which you will breed with, and caring for their progeny too.
